Not fluid level. It was first thing I checked and mechanic checked too. Handbrake goes off, brake system doesn't. It's all poiting to a sensor/wire.
Only one more sleep to go 🤣🧑🎄
Discs are discs, I don't see the point of grooved on a landrover unless you have 3 piston calipers and then what's the point. Let's keep it simple ! Pads have different gradings - soft, medium, hard and other. Soft is usually from manufacturer so...
Just Japan and USA got 4 o2 sensors. Everyone else made do with 2 I think.
I think (think) the engine is OBD compliant enough to show what the o2 sensors are doing with a bog standard code reader. With the engine running they should show the...
Haven't heard back from the garage today (despite telling me they'd ring - classic).
There's another garage a bit further which has all the LR diagnostic equipment, so I've booked it in with them later this week.
Hopefully all will become clear...
Later on that night about 8.00 pm I saw council workmen filling in several potholes along the same piece of road. Makes one wonder how many other people had problems that day
I'll agree with the Meyle HD parts. The 9-5 i have used to go through droplinks every 6-12 months. Meyle HD now been on for about 10 years and only just needing replacement. The roads round Oxford are generally crap at best as well.
I just go with a decent set of pads and disks and keep the wheels clean (like hell I do) but then we mostly do longer drives with less braking so the brakes last longer where we are. I had to change the Volvo pads after 8yr because they rusted...
thats utter garbage
anyways, you wouldnt get high CO and normal HC with failed cats
high CO = its running rich, normal HC no/nominal unburnt fuel, ie no misfire or bad valves
diag will tell you if an o2 sensor is running ok, fuel trims will tell...
