Very good, 9 bulbs all led, all interior and 2 x puddle lamps. Boot lamp was a powerful uk sealed unit replaced last year. Durite led sealed lamp bolted to the towbar crossmember as a rev light, that's really good, should have done that ages ago.
I popped all the festoon ones out without paying too much heed and they were all 39mm. It wasn't until I came to fit the new rears that I noticed they were a tad long but still fitted and made good electrical contact. Someone before me must have...
The black sludge is most likely from bacterial growth in the tank, common problem with diesel and could also be responsible for the white smoke. You can get an additive to kill the bacteria. The actuator can be cleaned with Isopropyl alcohol.
Thanks Norseman, Yes agree that she will need to be looked at structurally and will start with getting her over to a trusted mechanic to look her over and give me a verdict. Worth a punt, I think!
Who says the grill looks better or worse?
I love the 8 speed box and the engine, the grill, well I don’t see it sitting in the drivers seat so I can live with it ;).

It sometimes depends on who you know to help and the person dealing with the paperwork 🤔
Not had much to do with the ants for a while.. Only the ones that cone through the house, 😜
I think i just wrenched until some bolts snapped and off they came. My shields pretty much fell apart with corosion anyway, so I don't think I could have refitted them anyway. I'm pretty sure I've read of people taking the heads off with the...
Thanks for your replies.
I could maybe try and hack the top ones off, but access to the bottom ones might be a bit tricky.
Car is on it's arse right now, so not really any room to get underneath or under the wheel arch lining.
I'll try the...
I just cut mine off, and wrapped the exhaust headers when i put the engine back together.
New shields are expensive, it's dissimilar metals and constant heat cycling they just corrode together. I couldn't be arsed, and just cut them off...
Understood my good man.
In the last couple of years I've sold three landrovers bought for small fees and sold them all on with the logbooks and no CT's. After that the new owner deals with the paperwork, part of the agreements had at the time 👍
Washed it. 3 attempts required, the last one using neat detergent.
Tried to fix the crack in the windscreen but is is too big. Even with the glorious sunshine today it struggled to cure.
Also noticed my rear diff is leaking at the seal with the...
The L322 is not appreciating over here some are selling for less than a P38, too complex and hard to fix unless you have good DIY skills including electronics. The price seems high considering the mileage and the age.
I suspect you could get a...
If it's rust free, unless the engine is knackered, the cost of fixing it should not be too great. Don't take to to a dealer, you need to find an independent that specialises in Land Rovers, I know of 2 that I would trust but they are not near...
