And therein lies the problem. With so many brighter headlights all our eyes automatically reduce sensitivity, hence pushing so many toward brighter lights !! It's a viscious circle. If all headlights were under a sensible maximum, them all...

When at home, which is probably 95ish percent of the time now, my life is spent driving with no street lights, hell not even house lights. Even in the L322 I cannot escape these f-you lights, and as you. and many others on here, know I am not the...

I run 18" Hurricane alloys with Nexen Rodian M&S tyres, good wet grip, good ride and they seem to last well. No good for off road though.

The problem Graculus ignored with the over bright lights is glare. Looking away from the light source does not stop momentary loss of night vision as the eyes react to the overall brightness.

This doesn’t sound right. Are you sure that something else (e.g. the inhibitor switch) isn’t putting the transmission into failsafe when the gear lever is moved? Once in failsafe the mains pressure is not modulated which causes the gear...

It's big problem in the countryside with no street lighting at all in the dark. There are a couple of cars on the way to my sons work at 5.30 in the morning. If in my 38' I'm higher up due to the driving position and the bright lights of these...

. You really do like generalising, don't you. I spent a very long time driving all sorts of vehs in all sorts of conditions and dealing with all types of incidents. It has nothing to do with 'most people' or how someone is blinded by oncoming...

I hate those with f-you bright lights. I can happily be driving along a dark road , full beam on, see someone coming, dip the beam and almost come to a standstill because the oncoming a-h has f-you lights, even after dipping them. Can't be fun...

Then perhaps it is a bulb issue. Look at fixing your lights, so you can see , before looking to blind others.

You comment reminds me of some occupational training I did a fair few years ago, the context isn't important. Humans have a moth-like attraction to look into the source of light - especially moving light, be it an eclipse, checking the torch is...

Lay in a muddy puddle and changed rear discs and pads on L322 (actually really ok). Failed with handbrake shoes though :( At least there aren’t any loose bits of drum brake rattling around inside the disc now

I've fitted these to both of mine, it's worth noting that correctly assembled LED replacement lamps will not change the beam pattern, spread or focal length. Just to be sure, I checked both of mine on the MoT standard headlight alignment checker...

Not sure if I've seen the other thread.. What's the point in putting this fan in to the p38? In my opinion 98c is too hot.. the thermostat is fully open at 96c but you can't do much about that. I think if i did things over, I'd look at an...

Still driving it at the moment. Minimal coolant loss so I think I am only losing it through the exhaust at the moment. Hoses make Dirk Diggler look impotent. If all goes well I will take the head off this weekend and see what needs replacing.
