That's nothing serious in my mind. Possibly a sticky lifter or worn rocker. Does it go away with revs? Not an exhaust leak is it? Or a loose spark plug?

Turns out the offside axle seal was well worn & it clearly had a gap around the half-shaft. Nearside as better but still not sealing well. Both bearing housings had loads of rust inside, so clearly water had been getting in there. LR-CAT...

With my diag tool you enter the measured values and the car works out the rest so the chart is just for reference. Unless you fiddle the measured values to compensate of course.

There's no need for any sealer around the bearing hub, if the casing seal has gone it'll wash the bearings out and they'll die pretty soon. Replace the casing seal and put a touch of copper grease around the mating surface of the bearing casing...

Just swap the front axle completely 👍

Alternatively connect a pressure gauge either to the pump output, or in place of the sensor. Then run the pump & see what you get.

Had new regulator running now a couple of weeks and voltage output excellent. However battery not good. Starts RR first thing in a morning but voltage drops from minute engine turned off. 12.0 to 12.1 within few hours. SO ordered MF31 from...

It's more likely to be a worn pump than the pressure sensor. As you said the pressure rose but not enough.

Better get two! 16bar?? Moses Sandals that some serious pressure, about 240psi with my basic maths.

In good condition a Wabco should easily do 160-180psi. From the docs I posted above:

If I've got this right the compressor should be around 16bar🤭 (what he said below 🫣).. A worn compressor can push some pressure but not the ideal figure will be achieved as the air resistance will overcome the seal on the piston 🫵

Could be either, the 1st compressor on mine came from a 2006 4.2sc🤔

Even before that you can go round each airbag at each ride height and spray the folds with soapy water. That will pick out any leaks there

A good call, only suggested as a solution/ alternative to possibly destroying the old compressor and wasting money on a service kit. Ask me how I know🤯. A proper diag needed rather than guess work🤔
