    The latches on all of them are rubbish, freelander/d3/d4 I think are all the same part numbers, but pls check first!

    Throttle, defender cable cut down and home made bracket, been on there for the best part of 15 years now.

    No it was a manual plier type thing, tried it once and once realised how crap it was have never used it since.

    I got most of my info from Glen Anderson who had posted on terri ann land rover page, which is a goldmine of info. Here is link to Glens conversion, Iirc his is a 109 which is why he used the defender manifolds...

    You could put a tap in one of the coolant lines, most are 15mm id, which is what most UK houses run for hot and cold water circuits, so shoudl be a cheap/easy job. But I would check the cooling diagram schematics first in case the heater circuit...

    I would do what is easiest/quickest, less cut out the better for the car. How are you joggling the steel sheet? I ask as I bought a joggler (cheap one) and it is bloody rubbish.
