l've never heard of this issue over on the other forum for these vehicles, so l would say the chances of it happening again are almost zero.
l've also spoken to my local LR specialist garage who sell a lot of Evoque's and they've never had that fault.
l am not sure what you expect Land Rover or...

But if the vehicle has only done 50 miles in 12 months who knows if any condensation has formed in the engine, depending on where it's been stored.

lt's still for sale! lf anyone is interested

The new one will l am sure be fabulous (l've got one remember)...
-
Surprised at the lack of interest. l would have thought a supply of brand new off-road wheels and tyres at bargain prices would have had Discovery 2 owners queuing up.

Looks like you did well to move that one on. Mine's been faultless in 18,000 miles.
The Navara won't give you any trouble. They're built to last, like the Hilux.

According to this month's Land Rover Monthly magazine, the 18" steel wheels from the new Defender will fit straight on to Discovery 2 axles.
This could be good, as these wheels are being offered on Ebay at £5-600 for five, brand new take-off with tyres.
The tyres alone are £180 to buy. And the...
