l had this on my 110, the seals lasted a couple of years. Could it be the breather pipe is blocked?

"Adjustable dampers are from Terrafirma and a absolutely awful in terms of reliability" 90,000 miles and only one failure where the adjustment knob had siezed. Mainly road use though. "RTC dampers are a gimmick at best, unreliable and crap at...

"Six speed box doesnt make much of a difference given the V8 5th in an R380 is the same ratio." The Defender TDCi l test drove was doing 2,000 rpm at 70mph in sixth gear. My TD5 110 was doing 3,000rpm at 70mph.

Indeed, it seems more like an adventure when you drive a Defender.

When you do eventually start looking for one, try a wanted advert on here, you might get someone sell you a genuine Defender that's been looked after.

The O/P disappeared without trace, l wonder if he bought that 110.

Difference between the two is really Tdci - slightly more costly to fix/modfiy Nicer more car like interior, nicer seats, especially the 110 Underpowered given todays standards, however a simple remap will allow you to keep.up with traffic...

lt's easy to improve one to make it better as a car, if that's what you want to use it for. First try to get one with aircon. Adjustable dampers set to soft, give a better ride on the road RTC steering damper makes the steering more suitable...

l think you're right. The only Ineos Grenadier classed as "Commercial" with HMRC is the two seat version. l don't think the Puma 110 Utility (5 seat) is classed as a "van" by HMRC l would have to just keep it as a private vehicle and charge the...

So l have been offered a good deal on a late model Puma 110 XS. I realise this is a "Commercial Vehicle" in the eyes of DVLA but not HMRC. l've read that you can put it through a business anyway (l wouldn't be claiming VAT as not registered)...

Have you seen the price of Yamaha and Suzuki 50cc moped from the 1970's l don't think buyers actually ride them, l've never seen one on the road and at bike shows they're brought in vans or on trailers. Back in the day we thought our AP50's...

Yes apparently it's been in a Honda collection. lt's not restored, it's all original. You wouldn't get the Honda genuine exhaust pipes now anyway and they look brand new.

Exactly. New chassis fitted  ...... probably not or that would've been highlighted as a selling point! It could be a right can of worms and only fit for parts, best off leaving it where it was.

l had my 2022 Defender serviced and the indicator initially showed that the next service was due in 21,000 miles (although l would never leave it that long) Within a couple of weeks of town driving and short journeys it had dropped to 17,000.

Two years ago? How many mile has the vehicle done now. What was the state of the air filter they took out at the recent service? Did you check the vehicle after the 30,000 mile service? Had the oil been changed. (so did they do anything at all...

Hi, Please be aware of the above scam which was attempted on me 2 days ago during the sale of my LHD Freelander 2. Two guys turn up to view - said they were from Cyprus but their car had Romanian plates. They had an F2 which was a write off due...

Honda 125 Twin 1977 This has been in a collection for decades and has never been on the road in that time. The speedo is showing less than 100 miles. It is in amazing condition and surely the best available. It's had an MOT although it's...
