Dull with a breeze
Bit of plumbing today, no rush, had to buy a new pipe bender, lent mine to someone 🤔 :(
Got led bulb out on truck, not to worry , other 59 still lit :D
Meantime I think another brew is needed
Stay busy all 🙂
Mornin
Sunny start
Going for a drive in me old truck
Might plumb hall radiator in today, see how I feel 🤔
Not driven FL2 for over a week, it's resting :D
Stay calm all 🙂
It's a bungalow and I always leave the living room stat fully open because that's where the controller is.
I keep hall, bedroom and bathroom at a medium heat and living room an kitchen nice and cosy.
All pipes go into the attic and drop down into each room, I moved bathroom pipes to drop down...
My 15mm pipe bender doesn't do tight bends, only similar to the one in the picture that's why I thought 10mm pipe would be better,
My brake pipe bender does 10mm so pipe should be hidden under the radiator, I'll paint the exposed pipe to match the wallpaper and tidy the trunking up so it...
I finished the plastering because it wasn't straight
Plumber and joiner fitted skirting and radiator on same morning working together
I've since replaced the architrave and now replacing skirting and tidying plumbing up
Your right I spose
I don't like compression joints on show so rather than solder a bend in I was thinking I can get a tighter bend in the micropipe so it looks neater. I also have a part roll of micro pipe in the shed and the rad needs a new valve anyway so cost wise it isn't a problem.
I dont...
Problem is more than visual
Old skirting was only 2" high and one pipe ran above and one along the wood
Pipes need to be bended outwards to clear the skirting as they don't (and never have) sit nicely on the wall as they come down
So either bend pipes to fit and leave ugly set up as is or cut...
Problem (maybe)
Looking to replace these pipes from the pipe cover to the radiator.
15mm to 10mm elbows then 10mm micro pipes along top of skirting boards to rad.
Reason is so I can lift pipes higher and get tighter bends to rad valves, should look neater than what's there now.
Is there going...
Its like riding a bike, tall gears are more difficult to pedal, you have find the easiest gear to maintain speed without too much effort, all depends on hills, wind and energy.
