Indeed. Just need to know someone who can do a decent repair job on the rear sills. The rest of the car is pretty decent corrosion-wise and I'd like to keep it going for a few more years yet.
Alot of work done today. New rear brake flexi hoses and short joiner sections fitted, drums painted, ird oil changed, vcu bearings aligned, some serious rust tackled and the underside Lanoguarded. Also adjusted the ARB and rear brakes and...
Morning ignorees. Well done for taking the UK nightshift of ignoring for us Grumpy. With the time difference that works out pretty well. I'm on for some solid ignoring today though. I'm off to see Andyfreelandy shortly so we'll ignore jointly. I...

Yeah, I've been asked if I'd sell mine by a couple of eastern Europeans I know over the years to do exactly that. Apparently it's a "relatively" straight forward conversion.
The oil cooler went on mine a few years ago too. I don't think it's one of the coolers though as it really doesn't appear like there is any oil in the coolant. My slight worry is combustion stuff obviously. There is a dark residue in the bottom...
Had a check of the drivers side strut mounts and main nut to see if they are the source of the annoying knock I have still present. all were tight as can be so I'm definitely suspecting the top mount/bearing.
I also discovered some contamination...
Got back last night from an 800 mile round trip since Friday. Got stuck on an M6 traffic jam on the way south in 33 deg; air-con kept us cool. Haven't seen so many cars pulled over with the bonnet up for years.
Drove back north in intermitent...
