    Red lead primer was the rust preventer of choice years ago, my car is still covered in the stuff, but I've probably killed 1000 innocent babies just by mentioning the name!! There's a few high zinc epoxies that are also very good now

    From what i can see that bulkhead doesn't look bad. You can buy new door pillars and weld them in place
