Not overly, a combination of used DOT fluid, paint stripper and celluose thinners has worked best so far.

Hi, I've got a 1970 series which was originally Marine Blue. Unfortunately someone has badly painted some army surplus paint on top. Does anyone know the best way to remove that paint without too much damage to the paint below? I've attached a photo to show the paint. Any help would be appreciated.
