P38 DSE. Won't start.
My P38 is reluctant to start. just fitted new battery. can crank over for 10 mins won't fire. Glow plugs working. fuel working. Taken it to local garage left overnight, fired first time. brought it home and next morning would not start.
This morning cranked for 5 mins no joy, starter sometimes seems to jump back in. Tried again 20 mins later, no joy. Turned ignition on an off 4 times to ensure heat in plugs, spluttered and started, lots of black smoke. Now runs like a dream, at least until tomorrow morning. Once started, seems to be ok for rest of day. Any idea's it's driving me crazy.
