And the answer is...simple. At the foremost inlet port there is a small circular peg: Push the piston in a little to take the spring pressure off it and remove it. Relax the pressure on the piston and it pops out: And its now apart...

Trailer is a self build but most are based on old army sankey trailers. Does get a bit expensive to build but once done he enjoys freedom of weekend away and pitching where ever he wants. All self contained As for the Hilux it’s only the back...

The PAS tank and pipes were removed today. The return line was in two peices, with jubilee clips either side of the join. This is what I found when I pulled em apart: A male-male union of as yet unmeasured size but likely 3/8 BSP. Might come in...

A while back I posted a question about what 2-pack body adhesives folks were using. Someone suggested Optima from Ebay so I sourced one. Yesterday I broke the seal and started bonding in various patches and repair strips. Its quite a thick...

I agree with the others here that bulkhead is ok. Most of it will be spot welds and most folk even a novice can spot weld. Preparation is key, spend the money on welding clamps, angle magnets and give it a go. If you can competently break down a...

It's quite a few hours work. Anyone good will be charging £30+ per hour, so it could be pricey. If I was doing it: I'd start by getting it blasted, identify what's really bad. Unpick the spot welds. Day? Jig it up, then weld. Day? Blast...

Useful, in the winter, almost neccesary for those who have fitted LED headlights. They will need a heater system to warm the skush though. I'll just stay with the two 55W heater coils I keep behind the glass.

So today since I was off work I thought I'd make the very sensible decision and do some work on the 110... got a gas strut fitted on the rear door, refitted the chequer plate panel on the door and put one of those folding table things on it...

Let the motor get to temperature & see if the smoke goes. It will be burning all the oils etc that has sat in the engine for a few years. All should be good…(inspect cam belt for wear/deterioration)
