Thanks, I've had a look around the Internet and landed on the same conclusion, it's awfully loud on the drivers side when accelerating and seems to be the same part as schematics that I've seen. Apparently it's a regular issue... Thanks for helping narrow this down, appreciate it.

All sorted now. Removed the door card, unplugged and replugged the electrics and worked the window while the card was removed - all was on order. The culprit was the plastic cover at the top of the inside of the door, which wasn't fitted entirely flush/securely when refitted the first time round...
