And for those interested, got it all working and wired in. Very happy having my lightbar working again and does so without tacky random switches drilled into the dash. Just need to put the roof tent and rock sliders back on and source a...

Yeah - there is a crank sensor, but not heard of them going that much. Cam sensors are a little more prone I believe. The one on it is only a year old, but then I’m not certain it was a ‘known’ brand. Just don’t want to keep trying parts...

Well, funny you say that… I did last night But only after I got fed up with it all (eventually got the regulator out - what fool thought using torx bolts in an area where you can’t easily get to…. Wait, it’s a LR…) Anyway, got the regulator out...

Great result, all-be-it with a lot of elbow grease and time invested. Well done :D Having put that effort in, it makes it all the sweeter when you fire it up, drive off and all is running well.

Well for the sake of completeness, I wanted to give a wrap up on everything I did... I finished putting my LR2 back together on the 22nd of April, which was almost exactly a month after getting it towed into the driveway. The reason it took so...

Bothered by an annoying squeal at low speeds and pulling to the right when braking I took the front wheels off to check the discs and pads. Found a 3" piece of galvanised fence wire partially wedged between pad and disc on passenger side. It had...

Go on do it. Just secure it in a vice first and don't aim it at the cat. They're cheap enough to give us some entertainment in your description of what calamity unfolded. :D
