So you rub down the metal first with a pad, and then just paint/spray the 80% phosphoric acid on?

You’re right! I’ve gone through all the fuses - not one for the electric windows! Thinking note they must have put it to a relay! 😬

Hi All :) Finally managed to give the TD5 a proper wash on the exterior, underneath and engine bay. So 2 things that I have noticed since doing this! 1. Water leaking through the footwell. Notice the mats were wet, then what looks like a bolt...

Great advice - cleaned the engine bay and under today... so able to watch whats going on now. Though after it all dried out saw this - any ideas?

Really good point! So after a good clean up, start the engine up stationary for 15/20 mins and see whats happening/any leaks?
