FIREAPPLIANCEMAN

I am nearly 70 years old, was in the military from 1965 till 1989 . been married twice , have had many different vehicles in my life time. and always worked on them myself since a garage conned me out of a months wages ,for fitting a short engine to my first car when all the did was wash the block and paint it and slap new bearings in it with out it being reground it only got me back to R A F Shawbury . i bought my first new car in 2001 a ford Mondeo 2 litre Zetec which i still have . and have always worked on it myself . in 2016 we decided that we needed some thing with a bit more muscle after getting stuck on a site due to heaves rain, we saw this D2 TD5 for sale my wife wanted a red one and there was only a few to choose from most were down south and the other was 60 miles away . he said he drove it to me but i think he only drove it from around the corner see my first thread
