Just asking another question if I have the immobiliser deleted in the ECU will the Freelander start with another barrel and key? As ECU won't need a code . Thanks in Advance

Thanks for your help I was going to swap ignition barrel immobiliser ring with the correct key from another Freelander would the ECU recognise this replacement key and immobiliser coil?

Hi hoping for some help my friend has lost her MK1 Freelander keys and has no spare ,car is not locked, my question is if I buy a second hand ignition barrel with keys and immobiliser coil and fit it would it start? Or would the replacement parts need coding to the car? Any help would be...
