If i sit inside my car n lock it with the fob from inside ,then try to start it i get engine disabled .if i open with the fob still inside ,it will start ,,,,so if it thinks its locked you will get engine disabled , if that helps ;) ..

I have never heard a pssschhh on mine there is no dump valve to make that noise unless you have a split in the pipe work from turbo to inlet manifold you should not get a noise.

The rads are prone to hairline cracks especially at the top due to expansion n contraction 🫣 ..

When i did mine i used a 1mm disk on the grinder to cut through the bolts left n right ,dropped the hole thing out ....I put pollys in far quicker;)..

Finally got the balljoints delivered ,Only took 7 and a half days ,any hoo 3 hours later all back together ,Got away with not removing the abs sensor, would not move anyway The metal bit that kind o covers it disintegrated just enough to let...

Today i stripped the front end near side ,in preparation for new ball joints ,after 25 years not one bolt had a decent head on it but got it in the end just needed a bigger hammer :rolleyes:....

Platinum was 643X last time I bought one, iirc. I had to deliver it to work because they wouldn't post to private address for some reason. I found Platinum the best. I don't rate the MF31. EDIT: might have been 642X. Cannot remember which.
