    Fuel gauge

I'd pull the sender, move the arm and watch the gauge, if it works as it should, then tweak the arm on the sender. If the float is bent up too high they can read lower than they really are as although the float is sitting high, it hasn't dragged the arm up.

Cold engine start - strange accelleration - low power

As I suspected sounds like typical fuel starvation, start at the tank and prove everything now. I may also be tempted jus to stick a lift pump on for the sake for £20 but perhaps they are not as easy or cheap to get where you are.

Cold engine start - strange accelleration - low power

Clear fuel line is a good idea at all times but all the stuff I ever see is not long term fuel compatible.

Cold engine start - strange accelleration - low power

That doesn't sound right at all from what you have written and your video. The 300tdi is a good engine, mine will pull 80mph up a steep motorway I sometimes drive on, it is almost an annual test to see how things are, if it romps up this hill in 5th then I know shes in good form. There are...

Pre TD5, galv, no extension rear crossmember

Agreed, but if you saw the chassis rails you would be saddened if you had to cut them off. If I am really honest with myself my rear crossmember was salvageable. The rot was low down at the end of the rails, I just quickly came to the conclusion that I will be doing far less welding with known...

Pre TD5, galv, no extension rear crossmember

Thank you for the info, getting a bare one is also not too much of an issue, and as you say they do an option, however just looking to see if someone offers exactly what I want out the box first. Issue with galv is I then wait ages to save up a big enough load to make it worthwhile!

Pre TD5, galv, no extension rear crossmember

I could, but I cannot be bothered with stripping the paint back. I've spoken to some people who might be able to get me a pre-paint one.

Pre TD5, galv, no extension rear crossmember

Hello, has anyone successfully found the above? I cut out some x-member rust as inspection holes and the chassis is solid with the dinitrol having done it's job perfectly, just not good enough to protect a x-member in the exposed to wheelspray position. I really do just need and want the...

Low mileage but long life tyre recommendations

Given the use you give your Landy I think I'd suggest just cheap tyres and replace them as they perish. I always buy good tyres for my cars but if my 90 needed tyres given it does about 500miles a year and is driven quite differently I would probably just get a sort of budget tyre next time...
