TBH it wasn't as much of an ordeal as I had thought it would be.
The "habitual" larder and fridge trips were stopped when my hand touched the door-handle and I had a glass of water instead.
All coffee was taken "black" and tea was of the fruit variety.
Now I just need to stay away from/limit...

Morning All. :D
A wet and rainy day here in Benfleet. :(
The fasting ends just after lunchtime. That's about 90 hours without food. :)
Some decent weight loss, (5 &1/2 pounds) and no real struggle.
Now to steer clear of heavy carbs to continue the trend. :)
Have a great day! :D

Yes, but the Roman road has lasted 2,000 years. ;)

Didn't the gods of JLR ensure that the mileage went to whichever was the higher of the two (like when you put a put a new binnacle/BeCM in a P38)?

Hi TT, thanks for asking mate.
It is still complaining now and then (sometimes quite sharply).
I think it objects to supporting such a lardy-bastid as me. ;)
I am trying to lose the weight but the damage is probably already done, and at 70+ it ain't going to get any better. :(

..the Doctor rang to discuss my latest blood test. :)
Apparently I failed. Lipids too high.
Never mind, try again next year.

Who puts all this in place though? This is an independent lady that won't hear of "home-help's, cleaners, carers" (all of whom she classes as "strangers") in her home. But currently she is so frail and in such a mess we may get away with it.
I will contact the Council Social Care Dept. about...

Morning All. :D
A "yet to decide" day weatherwise. :(
A shopping day. :(
Got some new plugs coming for the Mini, see if these don't soot-up so much.
Have a good day. :D

The MIL will probably be coming back home very soon. W saw the hospital people today and they have declared that at 95 the MIL is not a viable candidate for grafting.
So we think they will ship the old gal back home end of this week or beginning of next week. W wonders what happens when she...

Morning All. :D
A really lovely day here in Benfleet. :)
I have convinced W to only visit her Mother in Hospital every other day and leave the other days for her brother to visit his Mum.:)
Starting a fast today (let's see how long that lasts LOL). :)
Have a splendid day! :D

Morning All. :D

Yup, its the same when Brits have the gut to buy derelict Mills in France or Finca's in Iberia and turn a ruin into a des-res. The locals that didn't have the gumption start moaning about "invasion" and no homes for locals/youngsters etc. when often the places the Brits take on have been empty...

My lad has sold a few of his games. Not all the stock, but enough so far to cover all the costs incurred.
Just 2 more days to go. Could come out with a reasonable profit.
