No further action but leaving it on file?

I'd be having a good look at pump earth. It's not a lot of use having 12 at the +ve if the remains can't get to round.

Amps are the important bit here.

I'm going to be a contrarian. I think the bumperettes on Lightweights were really a bit of a fudge to cut down the amount of dirt being thrown forwards under the wings, or maybe to protect the gap that branches could get into. For various reasons I've been using my LW without and it's a big old...

I'm sure it would work, but obviously wonder why you have the problem. Are you perhaps over-tightening? Or faulty belts?

Shoulda put it in Ag where @gstuart or @brianp38dse mighta seen it.

Mine steps through three levels of brightness with successive button pushes. Try that?

No idea what happened to my British Thornton one, but I do have my father's one, and it's quite nice knowing that it designed bits of jet engines.

I can't see why it wouldn't work, but it's not going to be a very nice drive - revs will be slow to rise and fall.

It being a Mini and equipped with one of Lucas's finest ignition switches I'd be looking from there to the coil and distributor. Timing's unlikely to have shifted.

We got Mum to do it for money, but being a retired doctor she wasn't keen on doing one for health.
As it happens it's working quite well, the medics appreciate that we're very involved and understand the options and so listen and give weight to what we say.
