Hi, to replace the washer jet on a puma you have to remove the dash & the heater pipes.
Had to replace the wiper wheel boxes on mine & the last thing you find is the washer jet
so it is fitted first.
You will need to strip it all out.
But you can buy a repair kit from Rimmer bros witch is just...

Hi thanks, dose the hand brake handle grip need to be removed first ? as it looks like the
rubber will not go over the grip.

Hi, my puma did the same and I ran a small drill in ( I think it was . 75 mm ) and blew it out with an air line and it works fine now.

Hi,
That video the worst defender engine sounds like they are pushing B M W engines.
If you remap an engine & it is getting too much fuel yes it will wreck the engine
I know from experience , I have had 3 wagon engines blow up through remaps
against my advice.
Defenders are no different

Hi,
Had mine from new , change oil & filter every year no problems.
I am a mechanic by trade and there is no need to call them ****e from what I can see.
But you will always get someone who looks on the black side.

Hi
I do not agree with the thread that the tdci ford puma engine is ****e.

Hi all,
I have changed my reversing light switch today (Friday) all went well.
Done from the top, Had a bit of a problem getting the cubby box out as the two screws
at the back were seized in the rivnuts so I had to drill the heads off the screws then grind
the rivnuts off & fit new ones.
But...

Hi all,
I have a problem with reverse lights on my 2010 defender puma I have checked the bulb & wiring so I have
purchased a new switch.
Is it better to change from the top Or from the underside ?
Anyone done this job before?
I think it will be a pig of a job if land rovers are anything to go...

Hi,
I would not fit Britpart wheelboxes as the amount of work to change them only to have to change again within a very short time.
I have changed mine and would use genuine parts every time.
I am a mechanic by trade but that is just my opinion.
I have used a lot of Britpart items in the past...

I have had a look on the web and it looks like they use the two bolts that hold the radius arm to the front axle and the other end just hooks around the bolts that hold the swivel
to the axle tube, Not a proper fix but it might catch the wheel if the weld fails then what?

I have a look under the vehicle and they have had an impact wrench on one bolt and because it did not come out they left the job, A poor attempt, no WD 40 ore even the
use of a wire brush. A case of all the gear and no idea ! they might be good with a laptop
but when it comes to basic...

I am going to look under and I will see if they had a spanner on the bolts.
I asked who was going to pay for the bolts as I am not & was told they will be covered
under the recall.
When I took the vehicle in they said they had ordered new bolts because they have had this problem before, Now they...
