    If you keep the windows closed the fumes roll back in. We either drive with door tops off or sides rolled up Don’t have the luxury of flaps on the S1 to open

    Definitely :( Spent time riding in the back of military Series 3's with the back flap rolled up & the stink every time the driver de-accelerated!

    Thanks all for your replies. Obviously not an isolated problem and just par for the course when running a rag top rear flap open! Small consolation in that at least I don’t have an exhaust leak!

    Yep useful thank you. It was a loose earth wire. I’ve attached it to the auxiliary control panel screw and working just fine now!
