Great news. Went to hospital yesterday for colonoscopy. Camera right up to where splice is from tumour removal and all clear . NO signs of cancer only a non cancerous polyp found and that was removed. Slept a lot better last night :vb-angel1...

I've done it but I've got all sorts of wobbly joints.. first time i tried i had to take the liner out though

Did the head gaskets recently. Had to destroy the manifold heat shield on the drivers side to get it off. So wrapped the manifolds which I think makes it easier to put the head back on. As others advise removing the wheel liner is the way...

I changed the head gaskets (V8 4,0 Thor) and in the process had to smash off the exhaust heat shields. As I didn't want to remortgage rather than get new ones I wrapped the manifolds which has been fine. She runs really nicely and has no codes...

I replaced the head gaskets on my p38 4.0 Thor a few weeks back and everything was fine. A few days ago notice a coolant leak from one of the hoses, tightened the clamp and pressure tested at 14 psi it to make sure it was ok I started her up...
