Before you adjust the steering box you need to check all ball joints and drop arm, steering column ujs etc. Manual will tell you the proper way of adjusting the steering box, pretty sure you can damage it otherwise. Just so you know I doubt temp...

I think he means 100w.. not amp watts So yes 9A cable might be ok but it's go with 15A to minimise any voltage drop over however long the cable needs to be

I've got a puller so not too worried about the arm, famous last words! Saying that I broke a SP puller the first time I took the arm of my son's Ninety. 2nd time round with the puller I have now it came off easy.

If the lamp draws 20amps then a wire that can take 9amps may well be too small, do you think 🤔

You get some discounts on sites like JGS, Thunderpole, some insurance companies etc. For me it's worth it for Trailwise, but GLASS do some good work fighting lane closures and sometimes organising repairs to keep as many lanes open as possible...

Yes but if you turn up with a group of 20 motorbikes (seems like the usual amount) then you would get the same negative attitude. I see more bikers than 4x4s and in general they go as fast as possible with little regard to anyone else. Of course...

Good luck, I get the feeling 4x4s are very much disliked in the area, well most areas to be fair and in general I can understand that. PM me your email and I will try and send you a route, if I can (not very good at tech stuff)

@Anaconda - Take a look at these two links which describe what GLASS does and lists some member benefits, other than access to TrailWise of course: https://www.glass-uk.org/why-glass.html https://www.glass-uk.org/members/public-discounts.html

James could probably tell you for sure on the one running around the top of the Claerwen, I have driven some of it.

James, what other benefits, apart from mapping, do you get? Friend was in it a few years back and said it was pretty dead and not worth the money. That's why we have never bothered to join it.

You can drive that lane up to Claerwen reservoir. You can drive the lane running round the top of the reservoir but it's a dead end as far as I am aware, even though there is a non described track at the end .

I use Outdoor active and council online maps. Bit long winded maybe but once you have a few routes your ok, just look at the council maps every now and again for updates. FREE! Where you thinking about going?

You might want to consider rear 1/4 chassis since your paying to take the tank out anyway, saves ever having it done again.

Maybe a coincidence, it would need the codes reading. There is a well known fault on the ABS pump which will stick up the warning lights. Look up shuttle valve mod, you need to read codes first though.

Anaconda replied to the thread Is My Injection Pump Phucked ?.
Maybe. On a 200tdi you can block off the fuel pipe from tank to lift pump and it will start and tickover but won't really drive. Sounds similar to your problem but if you have checked you have a good supply of fuel then maybe it is the injection...
