Ok.. so I connected horn directly to battery.. all good, so horn is fine. Then I found the connector in the steering column, connected battery to here.. again horn is beeping so I’m assuming no break in wire. Then I did the same at the actual...
so replaced the horn.. still nothing. Opened up steering column and found the main connector to the indicator stalk with horn etc.. no power there on the purple black wire which I’m assuming is the horn cable as same at horn and at the horn fuse...

Hi. Did this problem ever get solved? I have the same problem.. working last week.. fuses all fine. Can’t detect 12v on the purple black wire to the horn.. could it be a relay?
As above advice from Anaconda. I did near enough the same as him on my 300 tdi 90. Used the stuff you see in that photo. I used more than 50 sheets would you believe. Was fine. Got the acoustic mat too, way better than original. Makes the machine...
