    i have guestion for u, i have freelander 98 4doors
    i got 50mm lift kit, front/rear camber pins changed, now 235/50/18 tyre set! but i would like to buy this insa turbo 255/55/18 set?
    do u use whatkinda off spacers?

    Hi. I've sent parts to Sweden already so imagine it'd be similar cost.
    I haven't used spacers, my wheels have a bigger offset, they're off a chrysler 300c
    It's only fair to warn you about 255/55/18 insa turbo rangers. They are a pain to fit. It's a big job. I've even had to trim the corners off the tyres.

    I understand you have fitted the upgraded front from a later mk1 to your earlier Freelander. How big a job was it? Was there a lot of welding to be done and what about the wiring? Any ifo would really be appreciated.

    It's pretty straightforward. No welding. You have to cut the metal at the bottom of the headlight opening slightly and make a me bracket up. You want the wire tails with the lights as the plugs are different. You have to put a diode between main and dip beam as you want dip to stay on with main.

    If your new bumper has fogs you trim three inches off the ends of the crash bar. Bumper is a straight swap. Get the mounts that go under the head lights. It's easier than modifying the original. The bumper will screw to your original sump guard with a bit of trimming and some self tappers. No need to touch wings or bonnet.
