  • After getting the UV dye flashlight and glasses, it was extremely hard to locate the leak. I thought it was the frost plug around the starter. Bring it in to the garage for a better visual check, a pressure test revealed the only pin hole leak at the back corner of the head gasket. When out to add some gasket/radiator leak into the system. So far so good. Much better than paying out the +$1000 to get this job done.

I hope the gasket / rad sealer doesn't cause you any issues down the line. Almost everyone on here seems to "diss" it. This came through on my personal message. You'll get more sensible input from the collective posting in the "Range Rover" section. Well done for saving all those CAN $$$$$'s!

Spoke too soon Tuesday...using air compressor too long on P38 and she rebelled at low voltage. Mozz to rescue, so hoping to be sorted today!
