where did you get xyz switch from ?

many thanks for quick reply battery is fine i think its the aircon drip pipe which sits on top of xy switch as it has only done it when aircon is on,i just wondered what the actual code means,i dont understand the description,and are the xy switch not waterproof....

ok m and s flashing now clear fault codes showing are p1842 p1843 now reset what do these codes mean ,thanks for the replys

ok m and s flashing only seems to do it when air con has been on,now clear fault codes showing are p1842 and p1843 faults now reset and clear it is a 2003 disco td5 auto,could it be a fault on the xyz switch ? also what do the codes mean can time out monitoring dont understand what that means.

also i just wondered what the xy switch does and is this maybe whats at fault dont want spend 300+ on new one if its not this thats at fault.

hi will check my roof rails as i have a few drips also from the map /viser area iv just put up with it but it is annoying,i think the foam under roof rail fixing drivers side has shrunk so maybe silicone it .

ok thanks may have to look at selector cable but wondered why it does it on hill or when engine has warmed up .

ok disco 2 2003 auto,when car is cold everything ok when warm i cant select N i have to fiddle about with gear selector for it to sit in N when im towing and on long steep hills it some times comes out of drive any ideas thanks sorry it does not jump out of gear on hills the d on the dash board...

thanks for your answers just been told by landrover today you have to buy the complete light they do not sell the motor .complete light is £190+vat tut tut

hi thanks for reply but my model eacelift the motor is built into each headlight ,you can see the motor if u remove bulb covers ,i have the frog eye type lights thanks.

hi the motor has gone in the passanger side headlight where can i get a new motor and anyone know how easy it is to replace.....it is the headlight level motor built into the headlight.
