Hi The noise seemed to be coming from the centre of the vehicle and just behind the front 2 seats approx. Somebody did mention that it could be the diff, but have heard that there are other bits that are common to play up, thats why I asked. Stuart

Hi Went to look at a 2000 freelander today that woz supposed to have a dodgy gearbox. When I got there, I found that the gearbox woz not at fault, but there woz a grinding noise, that increased with speed. Have heard that the diffs can be a prob on these models. Can anybody give me an idea on...

Hi Have just located a rf receiver for my 95 rangie and woz just wondering that if I swap them over, will i have to reset anything or should it be a simple swap over. Anybody help would be a appreciated stuart

Hi Guys Finally got to have a look. Pump wasnt supplying enough air, (done test wiv thumb) so bought a new seal kit, fitted last nite, put pump back in this morn, and hey presto, after abt 10mins of running engine, suspension crept up to norm ride height then into high. Have noticed that it goes...

thks for that. overall good news not. did disconnect blue pipe and compressor is pushing air out, but question is, should it be coming out with force or steady??? mine is steady and did notice that comp was very hot, would this be norm?

Hi Guys. I have a 1995 p38 dse, which woz working fine till friday night. Took the wife shopping and when we returned home, lowered the suspension for the wife (well she is vertically challenged), locked it up and went in. Come saturday morning, had to go to town, so jumped in, fired the p38 up...

thanks for reply. woz thinking that. but my lads friend did a diag on the p38 and mentioned something abt the glow plugs but not sure wot he said. I knew it woz not the plugs themselves as have not long fitted new ones, that I woz wondering if its possible for it to be the relay itself

Done that but still same results wiv new battery :mad:

hi. I have a 1995 n reg dhe an woz wondering if anybody can tell me if its obd1 or obd2 compliant also wot can the prob b wiv my central locking. the remote unlocks all doors except drivers door. however, can lock an unlock all doors wiv drivers key or if i use the slider on inside of drivers...
