I too use soft shackles for sailing, there are many videos online on making your own soft shackles . With practice you can make several per hour.. Vastly cheaper than bought and then you know If it's made correctly .

Ive a 200tdi with a disco transfer box I seriously doubt you'd need a raised 5th gear as well. With 235/85 R16 and the disco box you don't normally get into 5th until 40mph anyway..

Put a partition behind the driver and keep what heat there is in the front. .It makes a big difference. ..

No they don't , a combination of sealant and Captain Tolleys creeping crack cure, solved it for me. I had a leak by the top of the door seal. So I greased the frame and pu sealant into / on the door seal , then shut the door and left it to dry. . That fixed it.

I too have nozzles on the wipers, I find they work much better than the originals. I replaced the plastic tubing supplied with silicon tubes. Never had a problem with freezing. But as above use a high percentage of anti freeze and the new piping takes a few turns round heater pipes.

I'd definitely go for PS, I've got it on Mine now it wasn't on my 1984, 110 As standard, as I get older and more decrepit I'm not sure I could cope without it.

That's what I did, A set of crystal lenses, a pair of good quality halogens, that's all you need. I'd probably go for the up graded wiring loom but the previous owner. Did something strange to the loom, I have to find the energy to sort that first.
