Hi I have picked up a 110 with the 19j engine in it. When I picked it up I was told that it had died on the m4 and had been towed to the garage anyway I didn't have time to look at it so just stuck it on the trailer and towed it home. Well today I went out to have a look a quick squert of easy...

I was thinking of staying with the 19j as I could swap it over in a day but I have never driven a defender with a 19j as my 90 is a 200tdi. Maybe the 19j is the better bet for just getting it back on the road. Thanks

just a quick question i have just picked up a 110 as a non runner and im not sure whether to replace the 19j with another 19j or just go to a tdi.? what sort of money should i expect to pay for either engine? many thanks:)

Hi a m8 of mine has a 1995 disco v8 and his key fob is playing up so he wants to get a new one. He has the fob with 2 buttons on it my question is can he buy a second hand fob and get it recoded (by a inderpendent garage) or does he need to buy a new one and have it coded by a main dealer...

sorry if its over kill for what i need but im new to land rovers and wanted to make sure when/if i decided to do more with it i would,nt need to change it all again

i lifted it as i want to fit 33/12.50/15" on it (greenlaning mostly) so i got +2" procomp shocks and blue hd springs i will stick the old springs back on but keep the shocks as the old ones were shot. do you think it could be the out put bearings?

is there any chance if i put the old springs back on untill i can afford the rest of the bits the vibration will go away or have i f~cked it up?

gear box? this only started after i had it off the road for 2 months and fitted a 2" lift would that cause the problem?

Hi i have a 1990, 90, 200 tdi defender and the problem is if im driving along at say 60-70 mph and let off the throttle i get quite a sever vibration if i push the throttle again it gos so i surpose its on (over run) i checked the uj,s and found some play in the frount one on the front prop so...

are they the bits that run straight up the front of the side pannel ?

the roof i have picked up is from an 1987 and mine is a 1990 im still not sure about the ridges but then i have never had a problem with my flat roof flexing. i surpose i will just have to think about which one i prefer the look of :)

i have just picked up a csw roof and sides for my 90 the thing is it is the older type roof with the ridges in. what do people think about this roof? it seems stronger than my flat roof but im un sure weather or not to stick with my flat roof and just fit the sides:confused:
