Hi i have a 1990, 90, 200 tdi defender and the problem is if im driving along at say 60-70 mph and let off the throttle i get quite a sever vibration if i push the throttle again it gos so i surpose its on (over run) i checked the uj,s and found some play in the frount one on the front prop so changed that and its still the same. it has had a new rear prop so i can rule that out. any ideas as to what it could be as im starting to worrie that its going to be expencive:doh:

is there any chance if i put the old springs back on untill i can afford the rest of the bits the vibration will go away or have i f~cked it up?

Why did you lift it?

Nobody can know what, if any, damage there is. Stick the springs back on, if it runs well, sell the lift kit.

i lifted it as i want to fit 33/12.50/15" on it (greenlaning mostly) so i got +2" procomp shocks and blue hd springs i will stick the old springs back on but keep the shocks as the old ones were shot. do you think it could be the out put bearings?

2" lift and 33" tyres, wot freaking lanes are you driving dude? they sound amazing!

sorry if its over kill for what i need but im new to land rovers and wanted to make sure when/if i decided to do more with it i would,nt need to change it all again
