    How to?

A search brings up an error msg and the Haynes manual doesn't seem to mention it. How do I remove the intireor rear view mirror? I guess I just grab it and give it a firm tug. As there doesn't seem to be any other way. However I don't want to break anything. Ta Val.

    Interior window trim kit

I'm thinking of fitting an interior window trim kit Like this one: https://bearmach.com/light-grey-rear-side-window-interior-trim-kit-ba-8001 I have found someone selling a good used kit, but he says it's out of a 110 and my car is a 90. Looking on Bearmachs' kit they only list them as...

    Roof Console

I've been having a rethink on this. It is obvious that this console isn't going to fit without some modification, spacers etc. So last night I was looking around the net for some alternetivs. Got inspiered and have been in the workshop (Ok, the wifes sewing room) and first part of the roof...

    Roof Console

I have just finnished recovering my roof lining. The car is a 200Tdi 1993 the roof lining is the factory fitted lining. A few months ago I bought a used roof console so I could fit a radio/cd up there...

    Roof insulation.

Agree, Open cell to allow timbers to breathe is one thing. Land Rovers don't have timbers that need to breath. We had a good frost a few days ago. My LD has no roof lining currently, just shiny paint, the whole inside of the roof was covered in thick frost, which later thawed and became a very...

    Door shims

Yep, I fitted the Puma doors to my 93 200Tdi. No problem fitting them. It was when I added the TD5/Puma bottom seals. This proved too much. Now a month later the doors shut ok. I've had a really good look to see just what was going on when the door was shut. I discovered that part of the...

    Door seals!

I'm having similar issue after replacing my front doors and adding the later type bottom seals. I have shimed the front hinges with a second plastic thingy. Better but two might have cured it. I think I will trim the new bottom seals where they go a few inches up the sides of the doors.

    Wipers!

This is interesting I have a similar problem on my 200Tdi. Turned the widper on at speed 1, fine. Speed 2 same and speed 1??? Unfortunately my spindles are only a year old. Wonder if they can be lubed without stripping the bulkhead?

    Webasto diesel Heater.

Yep, Technicaly not illegal. However if you look at the picture and at the position of the heater. The long tube is the clean air intake. The heaters hot air out put is directed at the fule tank which looks to be only a few inches away. Also the burner air intake and the hot exhaust enter and...

    Webasto diesel Heater.

Air in-take and exhaust are both the biggest issue, as they go vertically down. A big concern if offroading, espacialy wading/fording.

    Webasto diesel Heater.

I'm haveing similar thoughts re fitting a deisel heater. Having a seperate tank means you can run it on red deisel at near half the price. However locating the tank is important. You don't need it to be above the heater, as it has it's own pump. But idealy you want it to be filled from outside...
