well as mckerp said, ebay a good bet, but they are pretty good value where ever you go, have a look arround really. wouldn't bother with any fancy make, i bit of bent pipe is a bit of bent pipe if you get me! cant remember the part no. though sorry.

had a search couldn't find nout. gearbox rattling when revved high in second, quite leaky transfer box, only just noticed the leak really, as it only apears to leak when in motion and not all over the garage floor when parked. my question is, will filling up with oil stop the rattle? and how...

just welded mine in exactly the same place today, but probably best just to get a new one if you can (£30 at the most), as if its old enough to crack through, its old enough to be binned!

no, basically from on top of the injector pump it snaps back as it did when it worked fine, but it still revvs, despite being in the idle position, so between the pump and the pedal it works fine, but you may be right about a spring somewhere, shall take a look. any chance it could be a problem...

yeh happened to mine too, worth getting all four new, as mine all went one after the other! propper pain in the arse, and try make sure you get em on as straight as possible.

i might be being really f***ing dense but, how is it the cable if i move it without touching the cable and it still does it?

yeh had a look at that, when you move it arround under the bonnet it snaps back straight away and still revvs. when left for a bit (30 seconds or so) it does return to idle.

Any ideas as to how i can stop her revving slowly down to idle after taking my foot off the throttle, as apposed to going straight back to idle how it should? raised the idle speed the other day then she started doing it. cheers.

sory just a quick one, have tried searching to save embarasment but have found nothing, how do you bleed the fuel system on a 2.5td? i got new injector pipes in and the old girl wont start. cheers.
