£100 doesn't sound out the way at all - just make sure the alarm is decent one to start with, and be aware that only having one fob means the other may be out there somewhere.... If it were me I'd be getting my own alarm put in. If it's the standard LR alarm you're talking about they're not...

Always leave a battery on a conditioner if not connected to a car and used regularly mate. Always. That does a bit low, but it may well perk up once it starts getting used, try it and see how you go.

Clutch was fine yesterday, no issues :) being honest today I'm feeling lousy so I just bled it as you said, locked it back up and went indoors to keep warm. Job for another day unfortunately :(

Yes, the steering feels normal now. It could be the belt, I put a bit of pressure behind it but not enough that I thought could stuff the bearings....but maybe it isn't enough ! If that's all that's involved in bleeding the system via the nipple that sound sounds easy enough - can get to it no...

Now I've got a pump off I may see about rebuilding it myself, but need to check what's involved first !

The old pump now it's off seems to be spinning freely as well ?

OK, all done @flat Took a bit longer than the fella who did it on the link I used (@gstuart - legend for that !) but I took my time and followed the instructions. Didn't crack the bleed box screw at all, I filled the reservoir up and turned lock to lock as we did before, maybe 20 times ? When...
