205 80 16 will increase your speedo by approx 10% ....... as this is factory calibrated at approx 10% under you end up with it fairly accurate..... same goes for mpg..... accurate mileage will allow you to work out accurate MPG not the mickey mouse figures that LR quote to sell motors
yes mate, sorted very easy, just tie prop out of the way...no need to remove, remainder straight forward, main stealer only for parts, cant remember crush washer, total job30 min
But not all the oil will drain out of the box will it not, There will be a fair amount left in the torque converter?? CORRECT
What if the level was wrong in the 1st palce? AS STATED IF ITS BEEN WORKING FINE WITH NO LEAKS
Are you saying to measure the amount drained, and then fill up...
you gotta remove struts to fit a lift kit so not much difference in job......plenty of used standard suspension available new or used.....not as many sport available used so normally sell at bertter price.....if you do job yorself with used parts you should end up quids in

Had a look over mate of mine very early (Sept 2000) V6 today as hes been having trouble with a few issues inc 3 amigoes and a misfire.
Main thing noticed was the Vacuum enhancer venturi valve (the big multi way pipe complete with all the bits attached to it) at rear of inlet manifold was...
Never mentioned above where I lost control it was impossible to stand and people were slipping over and sliding under motor :-)

Dont know but why...plenty of newer one available and you can probably pick up a set of wheels easier and cheaper than spacers
Easy way to find out is make a cheap spacer (Steel wheel nuts are probably about 20mm) and try it
I have used both types on both steel & ally wheels with no problems...
Personally cant see any difference in the curvature on face and think the main reason is the steel ones look ****e on allys leaving the ends of threads in veiw and the ally ones dont allow you to put the plastic center...

Disco/ rangie seats will be too high and unless SWMBO is a short arse or likes travelling with head out of sun roof then the limited head room of FL will be a problem..
