Does anyone know if a 20mm spacer will be enough clearance to fit pre 2000 alloys to a 2003 td4. Thanks:):)

apparently the standard answer to any freelander problem is to burn it and get a defender. HTH

Dont know but why...plenty of newer one available and you can probably pick up a set of wheels easier and cheaper than spacers

Easy way to find out is make a cheap spacer (Steel wheel nuts are probably about 20mm) and try it

I have been given a set of alloys already fitted with new grabber 215 65 16 tyres off a 98 freelander and want to fit them on to a 2005 td4 .

Hi Dazz

How did you go on with the spacers?

I have a 2005 and can get a set of 2000 wheels-do the spacers defo get round the problem?

Cheers

Phil

Just checking how you guys are getting on with this. I have made some serious modifications to my 01 Freelander so I should have some stuff lying around if you need anything. I have 01 model alloys and I think I have 35mm spacers too...

Early wheels will not fit post facelift models. There is a difference in the spiggot and/or the PCD.
