What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

I've done that starting with front prop, no change, the rear and the noise ceased. Because of this it's narrowed down to trans box or rear diff. Transfer box was rebuilt by jm a few years ago. The only difference was a noise started directly after a doe test. I resolved this by removing rear...

Went to the recycling centre and back. Still sounds like a tube train from t box or rear diff. Suggestions welcome.

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Looks like I'll have to rebuild my rear diff. Trying to trace the whining noise. Was going to change rear output bearing and flange in the transfer box but bearing seems good . I pulled the new halfshafts and tried turning the diff on its own. Stiff as f#ck and growls although no up down or...

    Transfer box whine.

I'll do that and if the whine goes, I'll treat myself to a new prop. I can't see any reason why it should wear unless prop put of balance. Refurbished box with only about 10 - 15k.

    Cheers mate. Replace flange aswell?

    Transfer box whine.

I've narrowed a whine down to either transfer box or rear diff. Took off front prop, difflock engaged, whine still there. Rear prop off and whine disappeared. The next easy step I can see is changing the bearing behind the handbrake drum. Watched a few vids on it and it seems I can do it with...

My 110 dog ramp mod as requested by Mick The Builder

I'd thought of that but would lose floor height. I suppose If i just slide out under a false floor some ply + carpet, I'd only lose 2 inches.

My 110 dog ramp mod as requested by Mick The Builder

It's swings out with the door. I might be able to fab something that, with an extra hinge, folds up onto the wheel.
