    I have never really taken any notice of the difference in the 109 bhp and the 112 bhp how do you tell the difference also Eblana when you have your stoping of the engine sorted put in some injector cleaner into you diesel tank it does wonders

    what you can do is drill the head of then with a pair of pliers turn the rest of the screw around until it come out, when re assembling put a little copper grease around the thread and the top of the screw, never leave them off as they hole it central of which I learnt about in the 1960s I left...

    you have not undone the wrong bolt have you as it has happened where people think they are undoing the fill pipe for the auto box when in fact they are undoing the bolt that holds the brake band this will not affect forward gears but sorry if that has been done then its a box out.

    mine was like that after the vacuum pipes were put on wrong .the number 8 pipe in the picture MUST go to the back of the vacuum chamber and not to the front it does look as though it should go to the front but no and number 12 goes down the valve on the turbo hope this helps you.

    I have the right gear a 4ft 3/4ins ratcheting have to holder for the pulley I have ordered a 3/4 ins 22mm socket so no more braking the 1/2 ins step down because that is the week point and I have got a small scaffolding bar but I really think the pulley changing yet there is no fairy dust coming...

    my old freelander did this until one day the water pipe that goes into the oil cooler burst and we discovered that the pipe had come apart inside so part of it was blocking the oil cooler hope this help
