Yep air getting in,you can see it on the clear pipe, got some new hose ordered, will pop it on the weekend ready for the cold.

The rubber fuel pipe is useless, I knew it wouldn't last when putting it in but did anyway, all cracked now.

Buying an engine out on the floor also means you can't test it. I was pretty desperate for mine so I just picked the nearest one, seller didn't mention the blown head gasket :rolleyes:

Well I finally had something fail, The little 90 degree joiner on the turbo outlet split so I had to drive a 300tdi without the turbo until I could get to the parts place, god that's fun .. and by fun I mean horrific. Still, year and 4 months of constant use ,only a £10 repair and an oil...

Snapped rocker arm shaft?

I just used small self tappers on the right side, fell off with tape so I didn't bother again

300tdi, My turbo has started whistling quite loud all of a sudden under load, Can't replicate it without a load so I can't tell exactly where it's coming from and all the pipe joints are tight. Minimal play in the turbo but a little bit of oil, about the same as all the other 300tdis ive had...

Changed the engine after the first drive:oops::D

One thing I'll add, w.e you do with the oil cooler pipes, make sure you get the clamp that holds them together, even more important when there longer

The pipe off the 2.5na fits the top coolant pipe (I cut and put the electric fan temp switch there) The bottom standard 300tdi fits Edit - sorry just realised you meant the oil cooler pipes :oops: I just bought those,

What about diesel bug?

They didn't get through the door lock, god knows how it's not exactly difficult. Will be alot more careful where I leave it now.

Attempted theft at work, I can only assume they saw the pedal lock and gave up

Find a good used one? Don't know how important it is but I wouldn't take the chance with anything steering related

Thinking the other day, the last time I actually had to fix something on my 110 was in April 2018, when the clutch master cylinder went and that was my fault as I fitted a cheap one when doing the 300tdi conversion,genuine one now. Gets driven around 30 miles everyday, not bad for a 33 year old...

I don't know about fitment as I made my own mounts on the 300tdi conversion but it's lasted well the last 3 years

I think it's the pump bracket that's very hard to find The rest should be easy

Asian place by me is doing 2 1 liter bottles for £1, im going to go clear them out tomorrow :D 50/50 is the max I'll go I think
