Made my dash lights work and aligned the steering wheel so that it's in teh right position when going straight(ish)

I spoke to brownchurch when I was thinking of getting my landy as it had one of their racks on and they said that land rover said 75kg max on the roof. the bloke also said they have had 5 people with camera equipment up on top fine (I assume stationary) but they couldn't recomend that people...

As far as I remember all seat belt bolts are 7/16 unf. They might have a metric head though.

Thanks. It's grease, the garage greased them the other day but apperaed to have missed the rear one. I bought a grease gun the other day so thought I'd put some in but got distracted by a cuppa appearing under the landy and filled the already full front one again :o then did the one I meant to...

No idea as to what switches would be good. I'm new to this Land Rover stuff, just OK with electrics. I would also be interested in what are decent switches as I would lke to get rid of my Iron Goat(?) centre console and wire the various bits in sensibly.

It could work with a common live anyway. If you have On1 Com On2 on an on-off-on switch when in on1 pos on1 is connected to common and similar for on 2 position. In off position common isn't connected to either. So, supply permanent 12v to On1 and 12V from reverse gubbins on On2. Take Com to...

When I was looking for a Landy I was told by a Landy mechanic that the best engine to go for was the 300tdi, because it's the last(so likely to be newest) type without all the electronics.

Today I managed to get the CB installed :)
