Getting the arm off can be a bit of a challenge.
I have a 10 Tonne hydraulic puller that eventually got the job done. I have lent it to others to remove their drop arm.
TBH I'm not sure what connection you mean?
I just know that annealing the copper softens it so it can deform to make the seal.

KNIPEX Pliers Wrench. More like channel lock pliers but have parallel closing jaws. Available in various sizes.
That said I agree, ask him what he wants. That way he gets what is suitable for what he wants to use them for.
I do, but I don't think it's big enough for a flywheel. I don't know what size a flywheel is mind.
I'm not entirely sure but I think the max diameter my lathe could swing is 280mm and that would be just clearing the bed ways. I don't have the biggest of chucks for it either.
