A30 this morning

They had some in Launceston this morning - they told me it got fairly sketchy on the A30 over Okehampton.

Apart from being discombobulated, you shouldn’t get too disgruntled over it. Hmm…..

AFAIK, you can just depress & hold clutch, push the start button and release it immediately… the car will do what’s needed behind the scenes and start itself when ready. That said, I was shown by a Sage on here to push the button to switch on ignition, and allow it to do its vehicle checks...

Chances are your temp gauge does not get past 1/4? If so, probably your stat is stuck open, which is quite common for these. Bad news is changing the original stat is quite a job. Good news is you can leave it alone and fit an in-line stat into the car, which will let it run up to 1/2 on the...

I wondered that… it sounds a bit like the drone from the one in my F1… Doesn’t the F2 have an auxiliary electric heater that kicks in whilst the engine warms up? Could be something to do with that perhaps. @badlad does this happen only when the car is cold, or or only when the weather is cold?
