Measured ma hippo some years ago. Lights and seat heaters dun't take much. The electric heater took a fair bit of power. FL2. Stationary on tickover you can get to 90 amps if putting everything on. Battery was low but only took around 10 to 12 amps. They saturate when charging so don't take much.

Switch on some electrical items to load it, creating demand, if yer fink the alternater is having a nap.

If its the reverse brake band yer need to remove the gearbox. Then split the gearbox to get to it. Do you still have problems with it?

First thing to do is a partual fluid change. There's a specific method to follow. Can be done diy. Make sure you buy the correct spec auto fluid.

The alternator on a FL2 SD4 gives out over 90 amps when on tickover. There's enough power to charge the battery if it and the alternater are in good health. As above check the age of the battery.
