freelander 2 auto 2014 69k miles i feel the gears are jerky in low gears not smooth, today i was driving and as the auto box changed from 3rd to 4th to 5th a very loud bang/clunk at each change but nothing since, did something break?

many thanks for the reply, the clunks/bangs were very severe thought i was breaking down weird not happened again, so assuming low oil or now poor quality can cause things like that, maybe plates sticking or something?
