Of you want to go really anal about it you. can brush kurust or something similar on the bare metal before anything else and be sure it'll never rust again

You can get the flat with detachable sides that's what mine is and with long ramps7' it's not steep for loading vehicles

Ifors are well built and handle well with weight on,their brakes are good but you have to keep them adjusted properly.I use a 16" one to move my tractor and plough around,only a tandem axle and as long as I'm sensible on corners ,hardly know its there
