in-tank pump ok ile check that also bleed off pipes are they the ones from the injectors also what is foobared thanks ps if i switch ignition on should fuel bollock out the fuel line if taken from the filter if not dose that mean fuel pump knackered thanks for all your info and help

update after checking all glow plugs which are working fine relay too it seems to be like lack of fuel on first start up ive checked for leaks found nothing is there any other reason for this because after she starts runs well turn it off then start her up again she fires first time and run well...

right ive check all glow plugs and they are working fine relay works when i first come to start car it turns over seems to fire but continues to turn over until it starts any ideas as what it could be many thanks Richard ps i have had the becem repaired due to a blown track could this contribute...

ok checked fuse it is all ok even the relay clicks when turn ignition on and wait till it clicks even checked all fuses in cluding main ones on the left of fuses in mai box could it be the engin temp sender the blue one thanks

no power to the glow plugs but im going to check the main fuse 80amp

ive changed all glow plugs for new ones on saturday ive come to start it tonight it nearly started but it started to crank over with no joy :mad:

ok thanks ive changed all glow plugs with ngk ones sometimes it starts first time then sometimes it takes ages loads of smoke from rear when it dose start

can anyone help i need to find the relay for the glow plugs on my p38 as ive tested the power to the live part of the glow plug and no power been told it might be the relay thanks richard

ok yes ive followed these purple wires and yes they do split into other purple wires checked all the way back and has power from them also could it be the connector end which goes to the binical has been weekend and not making a good connection once again lads thank you for all your responces it...

ive chased the power from pins 4&14 which purple in colour to the back of the becm as i am no electrian are these the right colours for the pins 4&14

where the loom sits its full of water ?

changed clocks and still no ignition lights ect ect anyone got any idea ?

after further investigation we have power to pins 4and 14 after miss reading plug numbers i was checking earth pins dim wit so i asume it could be my clocks that have taken the brunt of power and blow ?the fuel gauge also pulsates ?

would changing the loom at the driver side sort it has i have taken everything out radio i have even inspected the wires for damage any surgestions once again thanks for all your help lads

could it be that my mate who said he could fit these fog lights without going through becm i have spoken to him he said he brought two power cables from the lights and the black cables went to earth on the body he then said he powered the up using the batter power from the radio feed so when he...

all i have is the abs light on dash srs light too they go off and i have nothing else lighting up no revs nothing i have checked the fuse under drivers seat its working ok ile go and check fuses under bonnet and let u know if i find anything else thanks for all ur support richard
