Bitter sweet is coolant most commonly from the Heater Matrix O Rings, clear tasting is most likely rain water from the Pollen Filter housing(s) or Sun Roof Drains!
Dry it out, find the leak, as Wammers says cure it, and it wouldn't hurt if the BeCM has got damp to remove it and put it in the airing cupboard for a few days to try and dry it out!
If that is the course you wish to take - Rick-the-Pick (member on here) is the man for BeCM's....so much so he runs a business in Brighton called Callrova and he specialises in BeCM rebuilds, repairs and diagnostics....
So we can probably assume it is rain water - common leaks are top of windscreens, pollen filter housings, sun roof drains, hole in floors!
ok yes ive followed these purple wires and yes they do split into other purple wires checked all the way back and has power from them also could it be the connector end which goes to the binical has been weekend and not making a good connection once again lads thank you for all your responces it is truely appricated becm is in airing couboard cheers happy new year

I thank youAircon is always active if switched on unless the outside temperature is very low and yes it keeps the interior nice and dry

And all the best to you too sir. Given the stupid location of the BECM etc, I think aircon on all the time is essential, just getting in and out in rain and snow makes the floor pretty wet, the aircon drys it out in no time.I thank you
